教學目標
1．瞭解關於Bill Gates生平的更多資訊，Lesson 91 多媒體教學設計方案。
2．掌握運用I’m sure that. . .和I’m sure if. . .句型。
3．掌握冠詞的用法。
4．提高學生的聽力能力。
教學設計：
Step 1 Revision
（學生活動）1．透過展示Bill Gates的圖片讓學生複習有關前一課關於Bill Gates的生平知識。
2．讓學生談談關於自己。
Step 2 Presentation
1．出示父母親的圖片，引導學生談談自己對母親節和父親節的.瞭解，及他們如何表達對父母親的愛。
We all love our parents. We have special days for them. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Do you know when these days are? Have you spent these special days with your parents? What did you do for them? Are you going to buy something as presents?
Let’s see what Kate and Jim’s plan is for Father’s Day.引入對話部分的教學。
Step 3 Read and practice
（錄影演示）播放第一部分對話的情景演示，看看Kate和Jim商量著該給他們的父親買什麼禮物，看後讓學生回答：Will Kate buy a gift to her father?
（圖片教學）展示T-shirt的圖片和人物高興的表情的圖片教學新詞彙：T-shirt, pleased.
（課件演示）演示對話的動畫，讓學生跟著朗讀對話，並講解I’m sure that . . . /I’m sure if . . .句型的用法，然後讓學生練習。
講解語言點：plan to，be pleased，I’m sure that . . .句型的用法。
（錄影演示）播放關於I’m sure that . . .的情景演示，讓學生觀看這個句型後接賓語從句的運用情景，然後進行模仿練習。
（學生活動）read in pairs and act out the dialogue.
Step 4 Read and complete
（學生活動）讓學生完成教材中第2部分關於冠詞的填空練習，然後全班進行訂正，初中英語教案《Lesson 91 多媒體教學設計方案》。
（課件演示）透過動畫演示冠詞的用法。
教學新詞彙：disease, TB, decide，透過比較教學詞彙lucky 和 unlucky，million 和 billion
Step 5 Listening practice
（課件演示）讓學生聽這部分的聽力材料，然後完成練習冊中的聽力練習。
