關於英語優秀讀書筆記
最近，我開始閱讀《文學與人生》這本書，由於英語水平不太高，我閱讀起來很困難。總是要反覆的查單詞、看中文解析，才能勉強讀懂。
今天我突然想到了一個問題：我以前一直覺得我學習英語這門外語就是記單詞(Words)，片語(Phrases)，學習語法(Grammar)和用法(Usages)。確實，語言是由句子組成，而句子是由單詞，片語，語法和用法組成。但是，這些只是語言的很小的組成部分。要想學好一門外語，我覺得要從一個更廣泛的角度上來認識語言的實質和真諦。
從某種意義上來講，語言是一種文化，學習語言就要像瞭解異國文化一樣，做到“入鄉隨俗”。“隨俗”在這裡的意思是隨母語者的語言習俗。而母語者在交流中所使用的語言不僅僅是由單詞，片語，語法和用法組成，而更重要的是講究更宏觀意義上的要素：即“語音，語調，語氣和語境”，我稱之為“語言的四大要素”。
我要舉個例子來更好地說明這個問題：有一部情景喜劇叫That’s So Raven. 講述的是一位具有特異功能的少女，在舊金山的生活和學習的趣味經歷。有一次，Raven 希望得到父親餐廳一位學生主僱的名字，而父親為了保守主僱的隱私，拒絕告訴自己的女兒Raven。Raven很誠懇，很無奈地說了一句：Dad, we are blood! 意思是提醒父親：我們是親父女，有什麼可保密的?
看到上面這句話，如果脫離了上下文，光從“單詞，片語，語法和用法”的.角度來講沒有人會懂。結果就是在缺少上下文的情況下，我們不知所云。
但是，如果從語言的四大要素——語音，語調，語氣和語境——來看，上句的意思就自然而然呈現在眼前。
綜上所述，學習語言，不要只注重單詞，片語和語法這些書面因素，更重要的是要體會到句子的語氣，語調，以及最重要的語境這幾項語言交流的要素。這時候我們就會發現自己在不知不覺中可以自由地運用該句了，同時英語水平也會大幅度提高。

To sum up, learning the language, we should not only pay attention to the written words, phrases and grammatical factors, it is more important to realize sentence tone, intonation, as well as the most important context these language elements. At this time, we'll find we can be free to use the word in imperceptibly, while English level will also be greatly enhanced.
