When I was anaughtyboy, may be because of theinfluenceof the film "Xiao Bing Zhang Ga", my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if I was a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did. It seemed to be very wonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving and climbing trees. I practiced every day and finally I could do them well. But when I entered junior high school and had themilitarytraining. I suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and I wasn't strong enough tobearit. I had to give my dream up.
當我還是一個頑皮的孩子的時候，也許是受到電影《小兵張嘎》的影響，我夢想著成為一名像張嘎那樣的軍人。我想如果我是一名軍人，那我就會像他那樣會游泳、潛水、爬樹。那樣該多好啊。所以我開始學習游泳、跳水、爬樹。我每天都練習，終於我做到了。後來，我升初中的時候，參加了軍訓。我突然發現當軍人是非常困難的，我還不夠強大到能適應。我不得不放棄我的夢想。
But I wasn'tdiscouraged, and I had a newaim, which was to be a postman, or rather to be a newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. I could speed along streets on a bike and throw newspapers onto everyporch. That's also very cool. So I started learning to ride a bicycle. After the everyday practice, I could go very fast by bicycle. But to my disappointment, the job which I wanted onlyexistedin western counties not in China, because there was no porch in China. And Chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes from very narrow entrances. The job was far from what I had expected. So once again my dream fell through.
但是，我還是沒有洩氣，我有了一個新的目標，就是當一名郵差，哪怕是一個報童也可以。如果我成為一個報童，我可以騎車在街道上飛馳把報紙扔在每一戶門廊前。這是件多麼酷的事。於是，我開始學起了騎車。經過每天的練習，我可以騎得很快了。但令我失望的是，我想要的那份工作只有西方國家才有，而中國是沒有的，因為中國家庭是沒有門廊的。而中國的郵差不得不將一摞很厚的報紙從非常窄的.口子投進很小的郵箱裡。這樣的工作與我的想象天差地別。所以我的夢想再一次破滅。
Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams haven't come true yet. But I think it doesn't matter, because if you have a dream, you'll make many efforts to realize it. This course is really important. If I hadn't dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy. I wouldn't have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle. I want a quiet home because I want to have a rest there. The house is on the grass. In front of the house, there is an apple tree. I want to have many apples to eat every autumn. I also want to play the swing at the tree. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two sitting rooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a big study. There are lots of books in the study and there is a computer in it. I can read books, surf the Internet and play computer games there.
I want a flat on the busy street. It’s close to my school. I have seven rooms. The biggest one is the sitting room. There is a TV and a comfortable armchair opposite the TV. After dinner, I sit in the armchair and watch TV. It’s very nice. I have a balcony. I can enjoy the sunshine on it.
