記得姚老師說要舉行一次英語考試，我心裡高興極了，老師好幾次都說要發獎狀，這次我一定會得獎的。老師特意留意了單詞和句子，我一看太好背了，於是看了幾遍，志在必得的樣子，覺得明天的獎狀非我莫屬。
可誰知道第二天，我懷著喜悅的心情考完了試，把聽寫本交了上去……發本子時，只聽見最前面的都是100分，唯獨沒我的名字，我心裡一直浮現著記單詞句子時，沒有什麼不會的呀？聽見老師喊道：“馬昕宇，99分。”我羞愧地低著頭跑上去拿了本子，心裡有一種說不出來的滋味，就像打翻的五味瓶一樣，在課堂上，我傷心的差點哭出來。
回到家，我大哭了一場，我想了想，以後必須要認真了，如果再這樣粗心大意，我永遠不會得到獎狀了。是啊！小樹只有經歷風雨後，才會更堅強。但是，人們常說：虛心使人進步，驕傲使人落後！
