錦瑟無端五十弦，
一弦一柱思華年。
莊生曉夢迷蝴蝶，
望帝春心託杜鵑。
滄海月明珠有淚，
藍田日暖玉生煙。
此情可待成追憶，
只是當時已惘然。

The lute has fifty strings,I don't know why,
One pluck and pluck, of past glory I sigh.
In his dream, with butterflies Zhuang was glad,
I'd ask a cuckoo for good news or bad.
The azure sea sees the pearl with tears beam,
The sapphire field feels the jade with hue gleam.
My love for him draws me back to the past,
While now I'm all lost and a bit downcast.
