Well, it’s hard to say. Traveling by air over long distance is of course time-efficient, but short distance air travel is very impractical. You can spend a lot of time getting to the airport and going through all the formalities there. The time spent doing that is often longer than the train journey would have been. It’s also very expensive. It can be 10 times the cost of traveling by train. And it will be very dangerous if the plane goes wrong. You’re so high up.
