那是一個月前的事了。有一次，我看見爸爸拿著一本書搖頭晃腦地大聲念著：“問（one）、吐（two）、夫裡（three）、貨（four）、夫愛（five）……”我大惑不解：爸爸唸的是哪門子的“經”呀？我一定要探個究竟。於是，我等爸爸走開後，躡手躡腳地來到爸爸房間，找到了那本“經書”，開啟一看，只見上面寫著“華通英語”。哦，原來爸爸在學英語！我恍然大悟。可這是什麼英語嘛，只見書上密密麻麻寫滿了和英語發音相似的漢字。我又好氣又好笑，心想：怪不得爸爸讀得那麼差。不行，想學好英語，必須掌握正確的發音，就憑這些“偽劣產品”是絕對學不好英語的！不如……我靈機一動，想出了一個妙招。
於是，我跟爸爸說：“爸爸，從今天開始，我就當你的老師，教你學英語吧！”沒想到，爸爸竟然爽快地答應了。我立刻“走馬上任”了。“第一節英語課開始！”我清了清嗓子，大聲喊道。爸爸馬上坐得好好的。我說：“下面我們先來學習一些日常用語。早上好！Good morning！”“咕——貓——擰……”爸爸說。我差點沒笑出眼淚來。“是‘good morning’，不是‘咕——貓——擰’！”經過我的一番耐心的“教導”，爸爸終於以標準的'讀音說出了“good morning”兩個詞。接著，我還教了“How are you？”等許多英語的日常用語，爸爸學得非常認真。一節英語課很快就過去了。
現在，想起我給爸爸上英語課的情景，我都不由地想起這樣一句話：書山有路勤為徑，學海無崖苦作舟。
