This summer holiday, I read a book Flipped classroom for Grade Five.
In the book, there are many interesting passages. I learn a lot from them. There is a passage Bamboo. I learn a lot about bamboos.
Bamboo grows in the south of China. There are many kinds of bamboos. Some of them are very big and tall, and some are short and small. Different bamboos have different colors. But most of them are green, even in white.
Bamboo is not only good-looking, but also very useful. In the ancient time, Chinese people wrote on them. Some bowls and cups were made of bamboo. In the south of China, bamboo is used to build houses, and some of houses are very strong and can stand for about 100 years.
We know panda is a national treasure of China. It likes eating bamboo. So bamboo is very useful.
