每個同學都會認為背單詞很困難，是這樣嗎，背單詞就沒有好方法嗎？有的。不說詞根記憶與聯想記憶，最簡單又最實用的方法是準備一個小本子，將要背的單詞抄寫在上面，放進口袋裡，隨時隨地只要有空閒的時間，就把小本子拿出來，
記一記，背一背，這樣背單詞的效率也就大幅度增加，背單詞也就變得很輕鬆。
背課文也是這樣的，只要掌握學習方法，就特別地輕鬆。每天早上起床或晚上睡前，都至少聽十五分鐘的錄音磁帶，反覆地聽，既會加深你對課文的印象，又會掌握其中的知識點，對語法方面更加嫻熟。日積月累，記住的知識點也就更多，就不會忘記了。
學習的方法有很多種，最重要的就是複習，學到的知識，若不進行復習鞏固的話，也就等於什麼也沒學。英語更是這樣，不斷地，重複對知識點加深印象，還要學以致用，對於這個知識點的句型及用法也都能運用，那才叫學會英語，最好也將學到的知識點同樣記錄在記單詞的本子上，空閒背單詞時，也能記記英語句型，那樣不是一舉兩得嗎？這樣日積月累，英語成績就會提高，這時你會認為，對啊，英語也不是什麼很難學的嘛。

我們一提英語學習就是：“聽、說、讀、寫”這個順序。而家長考量自己孩子英語好壞的標準，基本上就是：“說！”看孩子能否說得好。那麼，如何才能讓孩子更好地說出英語？我認為英語學習最重要的是態度。
語言無論什麼語種都有基本的通用原則，中國孩子從小講中文經過的語音順序是：聽，學單詞，短句，句子，對話，閱讀……英語學習同樣是語言學習，如果孩子不是chinese-english的雙語家庭，那麼英語的環境就無法和中文相比。而“說”這個輸出的能力，就需要家長長期培養。
為了能讓孩子“輸出”即說出英語，聽、讀要處於優先地位。這是英語教育和學習中家長和孩子應該具備的第一個態度。
在幼兒時期，家長可以用玩、唱的形式去培養孩子學習英語的興趣。越小的孩子，越需要形式活潑和輕鬆的形式。chants, rhythm, songs, poems都是很好的形式。在聽的時候，家長的第二個態度是：輕鬆。歌曲越輕鬆、熱鬧，孩子就越敢唱、喜歡唱，這是對0~8歲兒童的普適性原則。需要提醒大家的是，如果家長有一定英語基礎，可以把歌詞給孩子念出，讓孩子可以準確發音。需要注意的是，聽的時間，要隨著孩子的年齡增長而逐漸加長。

At the beginning of the term, I made up my mind to learn English well in my plan. Then I carried out the plan full of determination. I stu-died as hard as I could,and so the days and weeks went by. Soon the time for the mid-term exam came. I went over my lessons in earnest,because Iexpected to get good marks. But to my surprise, I got a low mark of 73.I made quite a few grammar mistakes. Besides, I was unable to use some words or idioms correctly. I felt very sorry about it. I sat in the classroom in low spirits.
Knowing about it,my English teacher asked me to go to his of-fice and told me not to be so disappointed. He also told me to listen to the teacher attentively in class,to make notes while listening and to do more reading and writing,and that only in this way could I learn Eng-lish well.
What he said struck me greatly. I am determined to do as my tea-cher told me to. I'm sure I'll make some progress next time.
